I want to edit my frontpage, but everything is locked (checked out) how do I change this to be able to edit the content on my frontpage?

After logging into the web site administration area: http://www.yoursite.com/administrator

...then go the menu and choose :

'global check-in'

From the drop-down menu at the top (right side).
