A vulnerability in the KBase component for Joomla! exists, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks. This is from Secunia on 10-24-08.

Version 1.3 was released on Saturday the 23rd to sort this issue out. All users of KBase are advised to upgrade and join our mailing list so you get notified as soon as updates are released.

the latest version can surely be upgraded but what exactly do you mean by SQL attacks?
