Translation of Help

Hi all!

I'm from Croatian Joomla community and we wish to create help site for J!1.6 in our language.

Only mistery that we have is how to include that help site in Joomla? I know that there is a file helpsites-16.xml but we can't expect users to edit xml file just to add new help site?

Is there some parameter for help site in language instalation xml file?

You will have to amend the helpsites-16.xml file to point to your help server. I don't think there's any other way of doing it at present. I know this is not ideal and it is something that I wanted to improve on when I revamped the help system in 1.6, but I just didn't have time to go that far. If you have any suggestions about how you would like to see a better mechanism implemented I'd certainly like to hear them. Maybe we can get something into Bowerbird.

Hi!

You guys are doing a great job and I'm shure this 'help sites' issue will be fixed in the next version.

My sugestion is that international help sites can be defined in xml of language instalation packs.

Only problem I have is that currently there are several sites listed in http://help.joomla.org/helpsites-16.xml but they are not showing in Joomla. In 1.5 there was a refresh button but I can't find anything similar in 1.6 so only default site is showing.
