Spam in wiki registration?

I've noticed an incredible growth in the wiki registrations (around 50 per day ATM). Reading some of the usernames it looks like there are lots of spammers going into docs.joomla.org. As I don't see spam, I'm pretty sure that they're being blocked.

The problem for me is that I was used to track what's going on with the documentation via the wiki's RSS feed, and now it's completely flooded with spammers registrations, making it harder to notice new pages or modifications to existing ones.

Would it be possible to add some spam countermeasures like captcha to the registration process?

Thanks.

There hasn't been any noticeable change in the volume of spam registrations. It's just that I upgraded the wiki software a couple of weeks ago and they now get included in the RSS feed for some reason. I'll look into it what we can do about it.

Chris.

Thank you very much for your reply Chris. Didn't notice about the upgrade. Don't worry then ;).
