Is there a Template Chooser in 1.5?

I always search the forums first, I didn't this time because I was pressed for time.

Is there a particular reason why the Template Chooser was left ouy of 1.5?

The Template Chooser was removed from 1.5, that seems to be a fact.

Anyone know why?
