Hello all,

i would also like to extend the metadata options for articles.
Does anyone know if the issues raised by yvolk been addressed in 1.6?

I've tested this issue today on Joomla! v.1.6.3 (current SVN version):
the bug is still there and behaviour is just the same as 4 years ago:
- editing article from Frontend does preserve metadata;
- editing article from backend erases custom metadata, unknown to Joomla.
- I couldn't find any link to the Joomla! article metadata extensibility except this thread ;)

IMHO CMS without content extensibility, especially without metadata extensibility, is outdated...
