What is the (minimum) system requirement for Joomla 1.1?

What is the difference between J! 1.0.x and J! 1.1?

System requirements haven't changed. The ideal system for J! 1.1 is PHP 4.3.+, MBString (for internationalistion) and MySQL 4.1.x. The minumu requirements are the same as for J! 1.0.

Difference for what perspective ?

I would say MySQL 5.0.x, Apache 2.0.x and PHP 5.1.x running on a balanced cluster of 8-core T1000's would be far more "ideal" ;)

Since Joomla wont work correctly at the moment with MySQL 5.x and PHP 5.x, that wouldn't be so ideal...
