I write a tutorial how to create new access level in Joomla 1.5.

  Registered
  Special
  Master Group

The new level of access is associated with two new groups of users "Master" and "Master Registered.

• Public Frontend
  • Registered
    Author
    Editor
    Publisher
  Public Backend
  • Manager
    Administrator
    Super Administrator
  Master
  • Master Registered

Any content with access level "Master Group" (menu items, articles, modules etc.) will be seen and accessed only by users associated with the access group "Master Registered.

The tutorial is in Portuguese BR but can be run by anyone. In any case use google to translate.

It is an experimental hack, run it at your own risk, preferably a local test site. The hack was tested successfully in versions 1.5.10 and higher.
