i am thinking of developing a registration based plug-in for Joomla.

it would replace some core files in joomla 1.5 registration.

but how if someone want to uninstall that plugin and get the original files back?

how is this possible?

Usually plugins and extensions do not overwrite any core files. Are you sure there is no other way?
