Hello,
I am having some problems implementing a high availability solution.

I have a Cisco content switch that directs traffic to 2 Joomla servers. The Joomla environments share a remote database. I have the session handler set to database. My understanding was that all session info would get written into the DB. If a user accesses one of the servers, a session is created and stored in the DB. If the content switch sends requests over to the other Joomla server, then the session info would be found in the DB and used.

This does not seem to be happening. I can see info getting written into the sessions table. When a request goes to the server that I did not login on, I end up back onto the login page.

Is my understanding of this feature correct? Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks!!

In your configuration.php file, do you have the same $secret variable?
