I'm a joomla newbie. How do i edit the code in joomla? i need to edit the form action on my contacts page. thanks!

I am not sure exactly what you want to do but if you wish to modify the contacts form then do the following:

1. Create a sub-directory named "html" in your default template's directory.
2. Copy the "com_contacts" directory from of the "../templates/beez/html/com_contact" directory from the "beez" template directory and place it in the "html" directory created above. Thus in the "html" directory created above, there should be part of the following structure:
.../templates/"your_default_template"/html/com_contact/contact/. The bottom "contact" sub-directory should contain 4 files, namely:

default.php
default_address.php
default_form.php
index.php

In order to modify the contacts form, edit the "default_form.php" file.
