I need desperately know how to create a custom field in article component of joomla. I know some commercial solutions, and other not well tuned non-commercial component.
If someone that already have created any type of custom field in articles is available to share the information how to do it would be great. I believe I may take a long time to learn all with no help.

There are already many form extensions that come with a plugin. This way you can create the form with the component, and place a small amount of code in the article. The form will automatically appear in the article.Have a look on the Joomla extensions site.

I recommend you at least start with one these, and if you a bit of HTML/PHP, you can view the HTML source that comes out, and try making your own.
