Post by MediaWorks » Sun Dec 23, 2007 10:35 am

Is it possible to change Joomla! admin panel language without reinstalling all the stuff?

Unfortunately, this is not possible in 1.0. There are no language files there, all is hardcoded. This is one of the things that is going to be changed with the upcoming Joomla! 1.5.

But, having both full versions (english and italian) is it possible to reupload or hack only some files/folders or is it necessary to reinstall everything?

With Joom!Fish is pretty straightforward to change the admin panel language, but I now have a "There are no translations available." message here and there, how can I make it disappear?

Which version of Joomla and Joomfish are you using?

This is the 1.0.x forum.
