I would like to display Vietnamese on my site. I've been trying to search for help, but most of the help is in Vietnamese, and I don't know how to read it.

I'm using Joomla 1.0 version, with language version of 1.0.12. The encoding char and browser is utf-8. When I type on the backend, the characters look fine, but when I publish it, the characters are all weird, such as º¢ and »’, etc.

Thanks for your help.

Joomla 1.0.X use character encoding ISO-8859-1 not UTF-8. Try to use ISO-8859-1 encoding and see if it helps. :)

Thanks, but I had found out what the problem was. I had installed and used WysiwygPro, and this was what made the weird characters showing up. I converted back to TinyMCE Wysiwyg Editor, and all the characters are fine now.
