[sorry if its a repost... i find posts here by using my keyword in the title but got none]

i am newcomer to joomla...

lets say my site has default english language content. now i need to get the site content in another language also. what do i need to do? do i need to convert all content in the 2nd language and then create another different site within the root site to add them? or is there any module/component by which i can do this easily?

please help me [with necessary example if possible.]

If you want a multi-language site Joomla 1.5 is much better than Joomla 1.0
Most users use Joomfish component to handle site translations.

sorry, i have to use ver 1.0 for this project.. [i shall use 1.5 version from right now]
