When I try uploading and installing a component It logs me out, and I can not log in for about half an hour after.

That's really odd.  I had something slightly similar.  I developed the site using the IP address until the domain name was ready to transfer over.  When it transfered I logged into the admin via the domain name (not the IP as I had been doing) and all was well.  But when I installed components it logged me out.  I changed the configuration.php file to reflect the domain name and not the ip address it everything was fine after that.  Could your problem be something like this?

I'm not sure, I have been using the same domain since I started.

Hi Guys,

I also have the same problem, what could it be?
When i try re-installing a component it logs me out and for quite sometime before i could log in again, however when i log in in different engines, it logs in.

This happens after i had uninstalled one of the component it give me this problem.

Any help :D
