HELP!!! Cant update prices anymore :(

I know my Joomla is outdated. However, the customer that I do this site for hasn't updated anything since early 2012 and everything was working then :'( . I go into virtuemart to update prices and its not saving what I type in. Can anyone help me.... He is going to flip out. My customer is not interested in updating/ new website.

Support for the Joomla 1.x series stopped on July 22, 2009. That's five years ago. It is highly unlikely that anyone is going to help considering the myriad issues that could be causing your current problem. You need to man up and tell your client that he needs to upgrade.
