Hey guys . as the title suggests ,  Im going to have a Section named "Tutorials" underwhich will have a whole bunch of categories  ....  I want the Newsflash module , to display random articles from all the sub categories ... not just 1  ..

Can anyone tell me how to do this ?? ..

Cheers

You might want to try the www.joomlaworks.gr Ajax Newsflash module which allows you to display articles from multiples categories and sections...I actually haven't taken a real good look at the settings for the actual newsflash module built into Joomla to answer your questions specifically in regards to the built-in module.

Did you enter in all of the section ID's that you are going to use already? If so, try just putting in the section ID of the newsflash section and see if it displays.
