I would like to run java script code in a content page, how would I do this?  I have tried turning on my WYSIWYG editor and putting the code in that way, but I just can't seem to get it to work.  If I cannot add it to a content page, is there another way to do it? I do have a wrapper that it works in, but I am not sure how to make the wrapper show up from within a content page.

This is the javascript I am trying to add.

You must have the WYSIWYG editor turned OFF for this to work.  The editor has a code stripper to prevent hacking via content entry

I seemed to have typed my message incorrect.  What I meant to say was that I have already tried turning of the WYSIWYG editor, this didn't seem to help at all.  Any other ideas?

And did you look at the page source to see whether it shows exactly what you typed in?

Also note that for example your script tag doesn't even define which language it is supposed to be. To be valid I'd suggest to add even the type attribute to both.

This is my full code for this.  It works just fine if I create a link straight to the HTML file, but if I try to use it in Joomla I get nothing displayed.

But when you view the browser page source within your Joomla site... do you get the code you typed or is it altered maybe?

I would think that the mambot 'kl_php' would be able to get that into your script.

It seems to be a problem with Firefox, I was able to get it to work in IE.

Well, you are not giving much details... you did not yet confirm whether what you typed gets modified when it comes to the browser...
And then I already suggested you to complete the elements (with language and type).
You should also check the JavaScript console (in Fx you will find it in the Tools menu)

I did check the code in the content page, it was exactly as I expected.

So that wasn't the problem.

I updated the plugin and it seemed to fix the problem with it not working in firefox.

Thanks for your help.
