How to move my articles (just Articles) to a different Server

I am currently using $ambo on my site, but i am moving to a different server, and will be using joomla 1.04 on that site, I have about 83 articles on the $ambo site, does anybody know how i could transfer the articles, without having to cut and paste every single one?

Do an upgrade of the database to the latest Joomla!

Do a dump of the articles tables and contents and rename the tables to jos_whatever

depends on what your skills are like with importing and exporting mysql stuff.

My skills in explaining what I do are zero ... I just do it.

Just thinking ... do a Joomla install and a sql dump and do a table strucure and contents comparison and work it out from there.
