i have a module that lets me put in any type of code.

i have a javascript code for printing the page

but when the page prints not all of it prints.  only some.  i have tried 2 different print this page scripts and the same things are not printing.

please take a look.

I see what you mean.

I think that your logo (top left) is actually "floating" above the page in another layer (I'm not sure how those geniuses at RocketTheme do that stuff), so your printing script doesn't pick it up.

And, I'm not sure that you can do anything about it without modifying the template.  I'd ask the question over on the Rocket Theme forum.  They are pretty good over there and can probably give you a very clear answer.

Just a guess.

here is the odd thing,  on a different printer,  it printed fine.      the logo on the page was in a module,  but i have inserted it right on to the flash that the tabs are in so i can get them close.

did you print it?  did you get all of the logos or some?

thanks alot

I got the logo on the top right, but not the one on the top left.

See this image (taken from a pdf from printing the page).

I really think that this is related to the CSS that is used in the RocketTheme template.  I would think that you would get a qiuck and accurate answer on the RocketTheme forum.  http://www.rockettheme.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,190/

I use Joomla 1.0.13 with the default template. I changed the Joomla logo by giving a picture of my own its name. This look fine at the screen. However when I print the web page the logo does not show. There is an empty space. Also the buttons are not there on the print, just the names of the button. Other pictures I added doe show up at the print. Even the replaced OpenSource logo, which I changed for a picture of my own in the same way as the Joomla logo, is printed. Is this a printer setting somewhere in Joomla (I am a newbie) or is it hardcoded in the html somewhere?

It's a limitation of the Joomla print routine.  It just doesn't handle the picture well.  I have heard that improving this is in the plans for a future release, but I'm not quite sure when that will make it in to the program.
