Insert image and downloads

Good afternoon to all, OK?

I am with the following difficulties in joomla 1.0.15:

1) How to embed an image in Content item?
2) How to make a link to download a zip file within the Content item?

To insert an image you must:
1-use the standard joomla images. You upload them to images/stories, and when editing a content item you can insert the image on the tab images.
2-you could also download an editor like JCE that will make you capable of uploading images into a content item directly from your pc.
