I was having major problems getting videos created with Camtasia Studio to play on a joomla page. I couldn't get any of the video extensions to work the way I wanted. I finally learned yesterday that in the latest version of Camtasia there is a format called "expressshow" that creates a single .swf file with the playback controls embedded in it. This means you don't need to reference any other files at all. It creates an HTML file so you can copy the code (you just need everything within the tags) and paste that into a joomla page. You also have to edit the path to the video file inside that embed code. It works perfectly! I hope this information will help others that are struggling with Camtasia videos in joomla.
