sample data page not showing

I installed joomla 2.5 in my site with the sample data
when i click the views it gives me the message:

Warning: require_once(/home/kingsfla/public_html/includes/defines.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/kingsfla/public_html/index.php on line 21

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/kingsfla/public_html/includes/defines.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/kingsfla/public_html/index.php on line 21


what can i do to resolve this

Did you install this via a control panel or FTP? Make sure the permission at the minimum are set to 755 for a directory and 644 for files.
