Search by id number

Hi
Is there a method of searching by id number for content and modules
i.e. id=7

I have tried in the search box by typing id=7 and 7 but it doesnt work

If you hover over the Filter search bar it tells you
type into the filter "id:7" and it should work. Hope that helps
