Unable to login to admin

Post by fester88 » Wed Mar 18, 2009 11:50 pm

Hi,

I tried logging in to the admin of my site after not working on it for a few weeks, and found myself unable to login, but instead shown a blank screen in firefox.

I looked through my error log and this is what I found:

Code: Select all

[Wed Mar 18 08:28:19 2009] [error] [client XX.XXX.XX.XXX] PHP Warning: require_once(/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_admin/admin.admin.php) [<a href='function.require-once'>function.require-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/administrator/index2.php on line 69, referer: http://www.domain.com/administrator/index.php
[Wed Mar 18 08:28:19 2009] [error] [client XX.XXX.XX.XXX] PHP Fatal error:  require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required '/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_admin/admin.admin.php' (include_path='.:.:') in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/administrator/index2.php on line 69, referer: http://www.domain.com/administrator/index.php
The front end of the site looks to be running fine and purchases are still being made successfully through VirtueMart. However, all forum pages (JoomlaBoard) now show the following error on the rendered page:

Code: Select all

pat-Error Could not load templates from header.html.
I thought to try and disable Joomlaboard after reading about others with slightly similar errors on this forum, and how disabling culprit components solved the problem, but don't know how to do this via the database in Jooma 1.x. I went to the site's _components table and removed the entry for Joomlaboard but it did not look to solve the problem so put it back in.

I have made no major recent upgrade or configuration changes, and am aware of no other changes that have happened recently to the server. I'm completely clueless as how to fix that so any help, theories or ideas would be very appreciated :)
