Moving Joomla 1.15 website from 1 server to another

I am in the process of moving my Joomla 1.15 website from a host based in the USA, to my own server "in house". I've moved the database and files and made the required changes for the absolute paths, but I get the following error on all pages "Warning: Parameter 2 to frontpage() expected to be a reference, value given in D:\www\xampp\htdocs\includes\Cache\Lite\Function.php on line 100

What version of PHP you are using in the localhost where the error is encountered?
