Global Config won't save

I'm having a problem with Community Builder and searching and it tells me to turn on Debug and look at the logs. So I went into Global config and turned on full debug. When I went to save it, the change didn't take. It seems that all changes to Global config have the same problem.

Any thoughts out there?

Sounds like the /configuration.php file is not writeable...

You need to temporarily make it writeable while you make your changes and then change it back.

If you don't know how to do this, you need to get help from your host.
Don't HACK the Joomla! core, Instead "Extend" and/or "Override."
Stay ON the update path.
