No content displayed after moving Joomla 1.0.15

Hi,
I recently moved my Joomla site to another host (1and1). I made a backup of the database and restored it on the new site. The backend is OK and everything seems to be working. However...
- No content dis shown on frontpage
- No modules show on fontpage except a few on left side
All articles are listed on backend as well as modules activated.

Any idea what causes this issue?

It is said that Joomla 1.x is not compatible with Php5.3 but I am using Php 5.2.17.
Can it be the template that's causing this?
I am so desperate cause this site represents years of hard work!

Problem solved!
I was a Coppermine module that prevented other modules to function correcly, I am not sure why. Probably a wrong configuration of the bridge!?
