Amazing how few support questions get answered here.
I also have this problem. It seems that the animation is stripped out of any GIFs that I upload.

Hello, I ve got 2 problems First : I ve got several css problems with safari. I realized that my web site have lots of display troubles. http://generationsfm.com Then With the banners or artbanners component It seems that the gif files are not animated. Its just the first step of the gif animaiton. Why ? Is there a solution? thanks for all |

still problems qith safari... If you don't have answers...DO you know where the probs come from?? for you Mister feldon.. The gif is not animated cause there is a spyware blocker ..or in the advanced option in ie you will find a bow that you have to tick. or untick. |

I'm using Firefox. If I upload the file by FTP, it is animated. If I upload the file by Media Manager, the filesize changes (much smaller) and only shows frame 1 of animation. |
