Hide menu item for registered users?

Hi, I have a menu where one menu item appears only for registered users (easy to do), and another menu item should appear only to public/non-registered users.

In other words, the menu item appears before you sign in and does not appear after you sign in.

How do I do this in Joomla 1.0? I will upgrade to 1.5 soon - is it easier to do there?

Hi,
As far as I know in general this cannot be done in 1.0 as one is inherited from the other.
May be possible in 1.5, you could ask after you migrate?

I found a solution that works 100% for me using the MetaMod tool and NO template hacks.
