cannot add new content

I just migrated my service from one host to another... but now I cannot add new content,, The rest is OK, but this message appears every time I try to add new content..please help
500 - An error has occurred.

Invalid controller class: ContentController

This is a shot in the dark, but I believe Joomla 1.0 will not run properly on PHP 5.4. Is this the reason you moved hosts? Poor performance on the old host, so you move to a new one and have more problems. About 2-3 years ago, most webhost upgraded PHP and many, many Joomla 1.0 users were in trouble.
