The person who started us with Joomla is no longer available.  We would like to make changes to our site.  I need the webmaster username and password reset.  How do I do this?

You can create a new username + password, see:
FAQ: How to reset an administrator password?: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,114190

Hi,

If you know how to use phpMyAdmin, just select your database, then the jos_users table in the left column (see red circle) and you then need to browse the records. You get to see the user details and also the password column (again red cicle), see the screenshot.

You can edit that record with the pencil icon. Just edit the password, you can get default passwords from that faq Peter linked to. Oh, and make a backup before you do all this  ;)

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
