Is it possible for news items to have a title that is publicly viewable but the Intro Text and Main text be only viewable by registered users? It looks like I can only make the entire news article and title to either public or registered but not split. Any ideas on how to work around this? Have any of you come across an extension that would do somthing similar.

I'd like to allow users to see if there have been any updates without haveing to login every time they visit the site.
