Does anyone have a solution for this? I have an RSS feed that requires authentication to view. I want to display it within Joomla... so I need to be able to pass the username/password for the feed. Is there a solution?

I too am looking for a solution. Even a "nothing does that right now" would help.

Thanks!

This is an old thread but I have the same situation and couldn't find any solution to authenticating a feed (Atom) tio display in a module and/or as an article.

Anyone that has been across a similar situation?

Authentication was never a problem to me after all. I just put http://user:pass@url/feed
It was php-curl that was missing which made the https:// feed not work. After installing it worked fine.
