Hi all,

I've searched through the forums for a solution to my global configuration problem, and tho i'm finding many of them, it seems no 2 are alike!  But i see a lot of help being offered, so i'm gonna post my issue in hopes that someone can help me!

I did not upgrade, i did a new install of joomla.  Since then i've been playing a lot in it, creating my own templates, stuff like that.  But now i want to turn on search engine-friendly urls, but when i go to Site -> Global Configuration, i get the following error:

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /{path}/administrator/components/com_config/admin.config.php on line 22  ???

I've looked through my configuration.php file and the admin.config.php file in the error message, but i can't figure what's going on (then again, i'm a newbie at PHP).  Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks a lot!! =)

Maybe you could try re-uploading the files... sometimes it works like a charm :laugh:

thank you both for the reply =)

i had already tried re-uploading the files, and i just tried renaming the htaccess file and uploading it... but i still get the same error =/

can you think of anything else to try??  or, can you tell me what all that error even means?  what is that path that it's looking for?  this is what line 22 of admin.config.php is:
require_once( $mainframe->getPath( 'class' ) );

thanks again!
