Hello.
I've been trying to ask for help regarding this question many places yet never got any answer.
Okay here is my problem.
I just recently got Joombla and any links on the  TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor doesnt show up. When i click on Add Image, a popup comes and nothing its just blank, when i click on anything on the editor a blank popup comes and thats about it.
Can anyone help me with this please.

Hi

I had the very same problem, the editor background was gray the only thing I could write in was the Titele and short title.
It drove me nuts until I discovered that, believe it or not it didn't want to work with my firefox.
changed to IE, no problem.

Though I must say that my nephew useses only Firefox, uses the same joomla and editor without any problems.

BTW and (OFF-Topic I know) : I like firefox for its versatility, but am afraid to say, that Firefox and myself nor my various computers get along very well. No matter which pc and/or which version of FF, it regularly "smears off" and shuts all windows etc. (has to shut down) But then again in the task manager it is found twice after this shutdown.

I suppose this is not a solution, but maybe an alternative.

wishing you success

My problem is that both TinyMCE and JoomlaFCK are totally flaking out.  Sometimes I can coax one or the other to work in an IEtab under Firefox (though not in Firefox or IE, directly).  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the editors, but no joy.  The common factor seems to be permissions denied errors in the script...which is odd considering I'm running this as a super administrator.

Now...the No WYSIWYG Editor option is still working on all platforms, so I might just have to stick with coding in and off-line HTML editor and then cut and paste into Joomla for the time being.

What really sucks is that I've been using JoomlaFCK for a while without a problem.  Then, today, it decided to flake out and take TinyMCE with it.  Grrrrr.

If there are some suggestions out there (short of reinstalling everything), I'd love to hear them.

UPDATE======

Fixed it.

In my configuration.php, I had to change my $mosConfig_live_site so that it refered to "http://www.domain.com" instead of "http://domain.com".

The page that pointed me to the solution is athttp://www.netshinesoftware.com/mambo-troubleshooter.html:

I solved this one a diff. way but inspired by the above.  The problem seems to be when you access your server in a different way other than what you have in the configuration.  So I was going to http://server.org/administrator, but the config was set up for http://www.server.org/administrator .  Really you don't need to change the configuration, only the way you are accessing it.  Thanks all.
