And...for the config.php, it tells me unwritable, so I changed to 777 the file, but I can't save it either.

Thanks for you support.

Which version of Joomla are you using?

Are you sure your provider server supports Joomla?

it could sometimes happen if you have http://yoursite.com as you live site and you are loging in from http://www.yoursite.com

it can also be cause by some antivirus/internet security softwares and settings. In my case Norton did create some problems with earlier versions of Joomla in some servers.

Thanks, is the lastest version, 10.11 Stable, it was installed with fantastico.
I don't have norton, I use Avast. And well.
I'm using the site as addon domain, and it's currently working as subdomain because the DNS are taking some time to display the domain name.

I assume that your site  (working as subdomain) is a subdomain of an old domain. If it is in the new domain name you should wait till the DNS is resolved.
Further on installation (Joomla) was done in the subdomain under the old domain

Fantastico normally installs Joomla under http:// without http://www., so try loging out and loging in at http://subdomain.yourolddomain.com/administrator

If you have a control panel and be able to check the config.php see whats your live site is.

by the way which browser are you using?

I'm using Opera by now.

Okay, this is it:
An instance of Joomla was installed on http://cultureofgaming.com
Full installation path: /home/lonrot/public_html/cultureofgaming
Public URL: http://cultureofgaming.com/
Admin URL: http://cultureofgaming.com/administrator/

But as you know, I wont be able to access the domain directly for now, but http://cultureofgaming.pornsitesdirectory.com

Do you see it? All the images are gone.
I've tried already to with the www. but it's exactly the same.

Config.php shall be set back to 664 ( in fact all such files index.php globals.php etc etc..) and folders to 755
Your problem was just that the DNS (also in cases of new sub-domains) was not resolved.
Cheers and good luck!
