Hi Russ,

Is there a similar tool set for Joomla 1.5?

@Folks

I know there has been long delays between updates and fixes, the project is still alive and I am more than interested in continuing and improving JTS, unfortunately things will continue progress "very" slowly for a while yet though....

Thanks for your continued support
Russ

At the moment, unfortunately, the project is "dormant" (but not abandoned) hence no current updates, due to moving interstate, additional workload and a number of other family commitments and life in general.

At this point in time, I am unsure whether there will be a "component" in the future, it may just be concentrated on the standalone Tools Suite, but nothing is set in stone.

If anyone wishes to convert the current J1.5 Legacy Component, just sing-out and I will provide access to the JoomlaCode Project to maybe move things along a little.

Beleive me when I say, I do appreciate how well accepted this project has become and am still very comitted to making it everything it can or could be in the future, however time is not on my side at the moment and for the immediate future. Please forgive the vagueness of this response and the lack of currency in this project, unfortunately events of the last 12 months or so have been out of my control and have not been conducive to regular development. My apologies.

I uploaded JTS2 to my host and login but there is notice like:
Notice: Use of undefined constant _JTS_SHOTNAME - assumed '_JTS_SHOTNAME' in /home/anvietso/public_html/JTS2/jtscore/language/english.php on line 188

After I commented out the line error_reporting( E_ALL ); in the index file, the page is blank.

What can I do for now?

If it worked before you modified the file, then remove what modifications you made and check it again. If it works again, confirm that the modifications you have made were good, valid and syntax'ually correct.

To fix the warnings, trying editing the language file placing ( ' ) single quotes around the second half of the definitions.

EG:
Change :: define ( _JTS_SOMETHING, some text will be here);

To :: define ( _JTS_SOMETHING, 'some text will be here');

Does this work with 1.5.15 and no legacy mode? Seems it hasn't been updated in awhile.

Thanks.

OK I have extracted and have a folder called JTS2.0.0-BETA3 in my site root (written in green in my win7 laptop). Can someone tell me how to kick it off?

If this is the standalone version of JTS, as the instructions state; simply navigate to the directory that you placed JTS in and open the index.php in a browser, just like any other web-based application.

EG: http://www.yoursite.com.au/JTS/

I am using Joomla! 1.5.17 running on Linux, using PHP 5.2.13, MySQL5.

Using JTS1.0.0RC1 in legacy mode, sorta works, but in the core distribution diagnostic I'm informed that it only supports 1.5.0 and throws the error:

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/.thorazine/isse_admin/isseonline.com/administrator/components/com_jts/dia.jts.php on line 55

On trying v2, it opens a completely blank page. I've checked permissions - that doesn't seem to be the issue. I don't code - I can't go in and find the mistake in the php code. But I'd like to use the tool. Any advice?

I am getting a blank page when trying to run it. This is on 1.5.20 so I assume it isn't compatible.

I have Joomla 1.5.20 and JTS Version: 1.0.0RC1 installed. Which file should I download to upgrade this one? Thanks!

You'll notice that this is in the Joomla! 1.0 forum, JTS is no longer supported for later versions than J!1.0. Try the new Forum Post Assistant ( http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 ) as found in the Messages Section at the top of every page.
