Installing Joomla 1.5

Hi all, I just downloaded Joomla 1.5 and am having problems installing it, i'm using wamp and set up a local host on my computer, I'm a complete beginner :-[, but a quick learner, I'm not sure about the database name in the configuration, this is the message is get "Unable to connect to the database: Could not connect to MySQL" could somebody explain this to me, or direct me to a installation guide that covers this, thanks a million, really appricate all help given :)

Hey, thanks a million, I did have a look at that earlier but I can't see the get privaliges button, which is the next step in the guide, have I done something wrong during the istallation?
