I followed the instructions, numorious times that is posted on Installing on IIS, and i still am getting HTTP 500 Internal Server Error, i can run test.php, also can run /installation/install1.php i get the joomla form for MySQL install, when i enter the database info and click next i get HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. But if i try and run /installation/install.php for the pre check, i get the same error. I have uninstalled both PHP & MySQL and reinstalled it. i can see PHP is installed propely, and i can use MySQL Administrator and loginto MySQL, create new users, and new scemas. I made sure the IIS permisions on the folders in the Joomla install are correct. Im at my wits end, im been working on the problem since yesterday, my other Windows 2003 Server has 2 instances of Joomla on it and they run flawlessy. This second Server just came online on friday and im tring to get joomla on it too.

I have looke throught the forums, and searched Google for the answer with no avail, any help pointing me in the right direction would help

Thanks
Bill

UPDATE
I deleted the installation, and put a fresh install on the server, and didnt change any permissions, i get the pre check now, but this is what i get

PHP version >= 4.1.0  Yes
  - zlib compression support  Available
  - XML support  Available
  - MySQL support  Unavailable
configuration.php  Writeable
Session save path  Writeable

Yes, i have

You have to uninstall PHP then reinstall PHP use advanced, make sure you install MySQL & MySOLi ext.'s don't install all services it will only screw up everything. After that it worked.
