Installing Joomla

Post by Mims2188 » Tue Nov 05, 2013 6:11 pm

Hi I have installed Joomla and uploaded my files on to my ftp.

This is my site and what messages I get up on it:

http://www.sailingbooks.biz/

If you are the website administrator:

You may now add content to the directory /var/www/html/. Note that until you do so, people visiting your website will see this page, and not your content. To prevent this page from ever being used, follow the instructions in the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf.

I can't seem to work out where to add the content as I dont have /var/www/html.

Any help would be amazing!! Thank you

Is there any reason why you are using J 1x as that's now obsolete.

I'm not clear from your post whether you are familiar with Joomla.
