How did you solve this?  Did you do a complete re-install of 1.0.13, or did you only do the upgrade patches?

A question subjected to the core team which is somehow off the topic: "Shall this new password system be officially implemented for the stable release of Joomla! 1.5 series?"

If the answer is yes, then you should inform the extensions' developers in order to start working for this issue.
Right?  :)

Lots of things are changing between v 1.0.x and v 1.5. It is being documented by volunteers in the Developer Wiki.  Third party developers can ask questions of the core developers in the developer threads. Many participate as members of a working group - typically, the Quality and Testing group. These resources and opportunities are always available for third party developers to use, if they choose.

I hope that helps you understand the basic concepts of how third party developers work with Joomla!.

CB posted a notice not to upgrade to 1.0.13 if you are using CB.

I replaced files with 1.0.12 files, and now I can't even login to the admin.

Post the error message, if any.

The instructions for upgrade on the CB site says to upgrade CB before you upgrade to 1.0.13.
After upgrading to the latest CB version there's nothing saying you can't upgrade to Joomla 1.0.13.
Unless they released a new note *after* I had already upgraded the site....
I am getting a few errors myself but none related to login issues..

You are right. But, at the time igeoffi wrote the note, back in July, the CB software was not yet ready.

Thanks!
Amy :)
