i am new to joomal and i did the install but when i try to add images i keep getting an unable to upload file message , i thought it was because maybe i did something wrong in the install so i manually entered the ftp info into the screen and now it says thats wrong ? am i missing something here?

Could you explain where (front-end, back-end administrator panel), and how you are uploading images, if this is not through an article or media manager.
