I recently update to new version of Joomla that is 1.0.11, when the new installation is finish u have the following problems.

1. My menu links are not working - error
2. Components are not working properly

Do help me guys...

Did you backup your files and database before the upgrade?
If so, you could try to restore the old version and try the upgrade again which may work better second time around.

Did you check to see if your components were compatible with Joomla! 1.0.11? Are you running the latest version of the components? Did you accidentally delete any component files?
