Make a back-up of your entire site and databse first!
After that read this manual: http://help.joomla.org/content/view/818/181/

Any hope for someone wanting to migrate from Mambo 4.6.3. to Joomla? The documentation is for 4.5.2. and there was a database change between that and 4.6.3.

you have to go back to 4.5.2 and undo its db changes
