Migration 1.0 to 1.5 Successful, but....

I'm new to Joomla. I'm migrating a Joomla 1.0 site to 1.5 and all is going well until I get the screen saying that the migration was successful. When I click Next to continue, it goes back to the initial install screen.

I've followed the instructions at http://docs.joomla.org/Migrating_from_1 ... 1.5_Stable.

From what I've read in other instructions, the next screen should be a screen telling me to remove the installation directory - not the Installation Main Configuration Screen. I tried removing the installation directory, but that causes the link to the website to fail completely.

Are you using the new directory to access the upgraded site?

I believe it is www.yourdomain.com/jupgrade if you used jupgrade.

You will have to relocate the server to point to the newdirectory,
or make a move of the migrated site to the old directory. Make
sure you do all the backups before you do that.

Yes, I am building this in a new directory. When I go to the new directory (www.downsouthjukin.com/SFM15), it prompts me to do the install. I run through the migration process and upload the SQL file which I generated using the migration component from my old site. It loads the new database, but then goes back to the install screen.

Where is your 1.0 joomla site?

My joomla 1.0 site is www.southernfriedmagazine.com.

The new 1.5 site is www.downsouthjukin.com/SFM - I'm still messing around with trying to get it work, so you may not even see the install screen at this point.

I got most of my site migrated finally by following a manual database export/import procedure I found at http://www.designsedge.com/blog/1-manua ... tion-to-15. At least it brought most of my content over.
