[FIXED] 1.0.9 beta2 possible problem with related items

I have just noticed that related items is not working on my 1.0.9 beta test install

This is not a clean install but a multiple upgrade install that is well used / modified for testing

Can some other testers of 1.0.9 beta2 please check related items module

Doesn't appear to be working here, either. This is on an installation that started as V1.0.8 and was then patched up to V.1.0.9Beta.
The Related Items module is displayed OK but the "related items" list remains empty even if several public/published content items in the same Category have identical sets of keywords.

Confirmed the bug. Adding back some code which was still in previous versions of the files makes it work again.

Rey, can you confirm that this code needs to be placed back? Or was there a reason for removing this? The notes on 3494 of this file say "minor mosgetparam hardening and consolidation".

Without these lines, with debug set to on, the queries are not showing either.
