MIA?

Post by eyezberg » Mon Apr 16, 2007 8:11 pm

Hi, as this forum just says "Foundation" and I found no better place to ask, it goes here / here it goes:
1. where is Stingrey ?!
2. where is David Gal ?!
3. where is beta2 ?! :) (couldn't resist, sorry..)

Seriously, anyone has some time to post a bit more about team / working group changes -who left, who otook their place, a general "what's going on" as Marvin Gaye once said?
And maybe an update about status of beta2, as J!day Paris has been 3 weeks an no news since then? Just a rough updated estimate of remaining weeks maybe..?

Hi Joe,

Rey and David are inactive at the moment due to personal reasons. We allow our core members to take a break if life catches up with them too quickly. We cannot expect them to breath and live for the project 24/7, as some of us do ;)

As for the working group no real changes besides the ones we already blogged about. The foundation working group was announced by Shayne and also the change in coordination roles in the documentation working group was blogged about by Chris. Jean-Marie is taking over David his role for the time being.

Beta 2 is a Wilco question. Maybe you want to send him a quick PM asking for a blog about it. I know Wilco has been busy catching up with life too in the past weeks.

For the rest, steady as she goes ... :)

Johan
