I submitted my domain name request 2 weeks ago, and I submitted it again this week. I did not get any confirmation for both request I send through. How can I check?

My extension is also ready. I would like to submit it to JED but I need the domain to be approved first.

My website is not up because I was thinking that domain name needs to be approved first. Anyone can help?

Open Source Matters may want to review your site before approving the domain name request. I put up my site under the requested domain name before approval.

In my case, after review, they wanted the Joomla name trademarked and a disclaimer at the bottom of all pages. I also submitted extensions before approval. The extensions were approved by the extensions people contingent on my getting the domain name approved. At least when I submitted my extensions, I had something to fill in for support, demo site, etc.

You can see my site at http://JoomlaMo.com. Also, they like to see that you are active in the community by answering posts in forums.

Thanks mokelly!

I read through some post and they said that the domain name needs to be approved before JED approved the extension. This is really a bit tacky, am trying to get it right.

I believe you will have to have a site to approve for them to approve your domain name. When mine was approved, I notified JED and they approved the previously pending extensions.

@mokelly can you tell me the time between request and approval? my site is up and ready but I am not sure how long will take to be approved.

It took a month to get the site reviewed at first. They made suggestions. Once I had everything set right it took about a week to get approved.

During the one month waiting period, can I start selling my extension on my website?

could you confirm the name of the sit and the extension you submitted in case its different from your tag line

Hi!

The domain name I submitted is www.joomware.com but the site is not up because I was thinking I need this to be approved ahead. Extension is ready so as soon as my domain name is approved, I can submit to JED.

Have read about the disclaimer and the branding requirements so will make sure our site abides this.
